Tooth height

It should be as high as possible so that a maximum of chips can be stored in the gullet.

The height is however limited since it is a function of the thickness of the blade which determines the rigidity of the tooth.

If the toothing is too deep in relation too the thickness, it may vibrate and crack.

N.B. : The height is roughly 11 times the thickness of the blade.
