Rotary setting

This process concerns blades having a pitch included between 3 and 35 milimeters.

It consists in bending the teeth alternatively to the right and to the left thanks to :

• A saw setting key
• Saw setting pliers
• A manual device
• An automatic device

The maximum kerf authorized in that case do not overtake two times the blade’s thickness.
It is possible to waive this rule bending three teeth in four.

The setting must be done on the tip of the tooth and must be of :

• 1/ 3 of the tooth’s height for hard wood
• 1/ 2 of the tooth’s height for soft wood

N.B : all the teeth should have the same angle and value.
