Flash welding

This process is mainly aimed at manufacturers of band saw blades. Various kind of machines exist according to the blade’s section to be welded. The most ordinary ones are welding machines for blades which do not exceed 60 mm of width.

Biggest machines able to weld up to 200 mm of width are only used for new blades. However, it is possible to weld band saws to be repaired but with this process there is a loss of material which means that two teeth spacing would be lost so the blade would be shorten.

Flash welding machine
